Greece e Spoon
The Greece e Spoon started as the innovator in the local Sheboygan food truck scene, Greg Lee’s dream after living in Las Angeles for 10 years. Greg converted an old U-Haul truck into a successful food trailer. Once he got going, Volwrath Bowl was the site of the first gathering of food trucks in Sheboygan where Greg and mobile food joint ‘Gyros 2 Go’ joined forces Bomallies food truck to see if the community had a hunger for food trucks. Now every Monday in the Sheboygan summer you can find the lively Food Truck Nights in the same park.
Because of the brutal Wisconsin winters, Greg decided it was time to open a brick and mortar shop. In 2015, the Greece e Spoon was born and ready to offer award-winning family recipes to the masses. In a comfortable place customers could escape the cold, yet still enjoy great gyros.
The whole business can best be described as “Easy.” Lee’s goal was to make things simple. No waiters, fast service, excellent food. Efficiency and simplicity are virtues for the Sheboygan native.
Lee’s family on his mother’s side is Greek, and she helped develop their traditional recipes. Greg add a slightly different flair to each dish. Want a damn good gyro? Maybe a great salad? Greece e Spoon has a laser focus on their fundamentals. Good gyros, burgers, and salads.
